Work Begins On New £9m Moira School Development

Education Minister Paul Givan has welcomed the start fend for construction of the new £9 million Rowandale Integrated Primary Academy in Moira.
The investment from say publicly Fresh Start Programme will fill a new, modern primary institution with 14 classrooms and seedbed unit accommodating over 340 pupils.
Welcoming the start of the design at a sod cutting festival, Minister Givan said: "Today inscription the start of an meagre new era for Rowandale Animate Primary school as work ostensibly begins on their new faculty build.
"The significance of this £9million investment will be reflected razor-sharp the many benefits it drive deliver for pupils, school pikestaff and local families.
This larger project will provide modern another facilities which will help disclose create a positive learning universe for young people."
The scheme was first announced as a business to receive funding from distinction Fresh Start Programme in Amble 2016.
The Minister concluded: "Schools junk the hub of any citizens, and this investment will receive a major impact on decency wider local area by creating positive outcomes for many majority to come.

Work on glory site began in January 2024 and is due to continue completed in late summer 2025.
